About me
Juan A. Sanchez received his B.Sc. (1997), M.Sc. (1999) and Ph.D. (2006) degree in Computer Science from the University of Murcia, Spain.
Currently, he is Associate Professor at the Department of Communications and Information Engineering (DIIC), at the Faculty of Computer Sciences (UMU) and Vicedean for Quality Affairs since October 2008.

Research activities
Currently, I am focused in the design of efficient multicast and unicast routing protocols for wireless sensor networks and vehicular ad hoc networks.
I have also worked in several projects related to IPv6, SIP, videoconferencing, Quality of Service, Multimedia Content Delivery and so on.
Additionally, I work as a reviewer for several International Journals and as member of the Technical Program Commitee of Conferences and Workshops around the world.
